So here I am, wide awake at nearly 3 AM after a series of sporadic naps since Friday morning posting about my life.
If I can't miraculously work up to the company's unrealistic production quotas this week with the new position I got a month and a half ago, I'll be throw back to my old job. As much as the practical part of me is telling me to lose my mind because of the sharp drop in pay, I'm honestly not distraught over what will likely happen not just because I'm currently not hurting for money, but because I gave it my best shot and that many coworkers told me that what management wanted out of me was basically impossible to get without doing a bunch of unsafe work practices.
Also, if what's likely inevitable happens at the end of the week, I'll be in a position where I can work more freely on creative endeavors.

An unpopular opinion...
Hi everyone,
Everyone here knows by now that Stephen Hillenburg died from complications related to ALS recently. While it's very sad that Hillenburg died, I'll be honest here and say that I NEVER liked SpongeBob. In fact, I had an obsessive disdain for SpongeBob in my high school years (2002-06), though I now just go "meh" whenever I think of the show because the responsibilities that go with adulthood tend to straighten out one's priorities in life.
While most cartoon fans will remember Hillenberg for creating SpongeBob, I'll remember him for working as a director for one of my all-time favorite cartoons, Rocko's Modern Life.
This really sucks...
Hi everyone,
Looks like my chapter "Darkest Desires" for The Forbidden Cinnamon Roll got removed for violating DA's content policies. Normally, I'd go into rant mode about how people who don't like content that's "offensive" to just turn away and look at something else and that those who flag such content are moral busybodies, but I honestly think this was the work of Bart-Toons (https://www.deviantart.com/bart-toons) because I posted Fresh's excellent sequel to "No Such Luck" to his profile page.
For those who are fans of TFCR, I'll likely repost that story somewhere else and let you know when I do, and continue the story whenever I can get the writing sparks going again.

So one of my Deviations got removed...
Hi everyone,
It's yet another Valentine's Day I'm spending alone, though I don't feel well enough to even indulge in a top-notch bone-in ribeye steak. Just oodle noodle chicken broth soup and OJ for me today.
However, my Loudcest drawing "Hidden Watchers" got removed yesterday because it's apparently against the site's rules to post drawings of two underage siblings romantically kissing each other. I submitted a Note to the Help Desk in the hopes that it can get reinstated, though at least for now, I'll have to look for ways get around such nonsense for any future Loudcest drawings I'd like to make. Needless to say, this animated Lisa GI
Born Too Late
To everyone who watches me here, it should be no secret that many of my favorite pieces of entertainment are from eras that have long passed, mainly the late 80's/early 90's. While I have thankfully rid myself of the mentality of "everything from the year 2000 onward is crap" (mainly evidenced by my fandom for The Loud House), I do nonetheless feel like I should have been born 15-20 years earlier at times.
The catalyst for this was when I was working with someone who's been a death metal fan since the late 80's. He was stoked by my vast knowledge of not only the more extreme offshoots of the heavy metal genre, but by my knowledge of miscella

Sorry that things with the new job don't look so hot, but hopefully they're more reasonable than they claim. Still, I'm glad you have a glass-half-full attitude and plans to resume your other endeavors. Also, with your other credentials you're pretty marketable elsewhere too.
Whatever the case, best of luck. Have a great week and take care.
